It gives me immense pleasure to attend the India–Moldova Business Forum today. I thank you all for your presence here including representatives of leading businesses from India and Moldova along with members of Business Associations and ‘Invest Moldova’.

My visit to Moldova as the first State visit by an Indian President reflects India's commitment to deepening engagement with Moldova in all spheres including political, economic, cultural and people-to-people ties.

I congratulate each one of you on joining the Indian Forest Service. You have earned this distinction through hard work, perseverance and dedication. Today marks not only the beginning of a career, but the beginning of a sacred duty to serve the nation.

सुश्रुत जयंती के अवसर पर, शल्य चिकित्सा पर आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय आयोजन में आपके बीच आकर मुझे प्रसन्नता हो रही है। सर्जरी के जनक आचार्य सुश्रुत की जयंती के शुभ अवसर पर मैं आयुर्वेद से जुड़े सभी लोगों को हार्दिक बधाई देती हूं।

Durand Cup के अनावरण और flagging off समारोह में आप सब के बीच उपस्थित होकर मुझे हार्दिक प्रसन्नता हो रही हैI Durand Cup Tournament ने अनेक फुटबॉल प्रतिभाओं को मंच प्रदान किया है। इसके लिए मैं इस Tournament से जुड़े सभी पूर्व और वर्तमान अधिकारियों और खिलाड़ियों को बहुत-बहुत बधाई देती हूं।

I am delighted to be with you today in the historic city of Ananthapuramu. This district occupies a special place in the history of Andhra Pradesh, known for its rich heritage and the impressive architecture of the Vijayanagara empire. I am happy to share that it is also associated with two of my distinguished predecessors. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan taught at the Government College here, while Dr. Neelam Sanjiva Reddy hailed from this district. Both are remembered as great sons of India whose lives continue to inspire us.

आंध्र प्रदेश के इस ऐतिहासिक नगर में इस केन्द्रीय जनजातीय विश्‍वविद्यालय के प्रथम दीक्षान्त समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए मुझे प्रसन्नता हो रही है। आज उपाधियाँ प्राप्त करने वाले तथा उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए पदक प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को मेरी शुभकामनाएँ और बधाई। वे सभी शिक्षक गण, अभिभावक गण भी बधाई के पात्र हैं जिन्होंने विद्यार्थियों का प्रोत्साहन और मार्गदर्शन किया।

I congratulate each one of you on becoming a part of the Military Engineer Services, an organisation that has played a very important role in strengthening the nation’s defence infrastructure.

आज रानी दुर्गावती विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह के अवसर पर आप सबके बीच आकर मुझे प्रसन्नता का अनुभव हो रहा है। रानी दुर्गावती जिनके नाम पर यह विश्वविद्यालय स्थापित है वे अदम्य साहस, शौर्य और पराक्रम की प्रतिमूर्ति थीं। पिछले वर्ष ही गोंडवाना साम्राज्य की उस महान शासक और वीरांगना की 501वीं जन्म-जयंती देशवासियों ने मनाई थी। संयोग से आज से दो दिन बाद 24 जून को उनका 462वां बलिदान दिवस है। रानी दुर्गावती भारत की नारी शक्ति के शौर्य की प्रतीक हैं। वे सदैव नारी शक्ति के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत रहेंगी। मैं महान रानी दुर्गावती की स्मृति में सादर नमन करती हूं।

सबसे पहले मैं मयूरभंज की माटी पर भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री, श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी का स्वागत करती हूँ। वे हमारे गाँव पहाड़पुर से होकर यहाँ आए हैं। वहाँ वे आदिवासियों के पवित्र स्थान गोषाणी पीठ और जाहेर थान गए थे। उन्होंने SLS Trust में अध्ययनरत छात्र-छात्राओं से बातचीत भी की। प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में पहाड़‌पुर और राइरंगपुर अंचल में मोदी जी का यह प्रथम शुभागमन है। इससे पहले वर्ष 2004 में वे राइरंगपुर आए थे। तब वे गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री थे।
