It is a great privilege for me to address this august House today. I thank you for giving me this honour. The National Assembly of the Republic of Botswana is the temple of democracy of your proud nation. I bring to you the greetings and good wishes of the Government and 1.4 billion people of India.

I am delighted to be present in the vibrant city of Gaborone today. I am truly overwhelmed by the warmth of welcome accorded to me and my delegation by the people and Government of Botswana.

I am truly delighted to be in this beautiful country at the invitation of His Excellency, the President of Botswana.

I thank President Boko as well as the Government and people of the Republic of Botswana for the warm welcome extended to me and my delegation, which includes our Minister of State Shri V Somanna as well as two members of Parliament, Shri P Vasava and Smt D K Aruna.

आप सभी के बीच लुआंडा में उपस्थित होकर मुझे अत्यंत हर्ष का अनुभव हो रहा है। मेरी यह राजकीय यात्रा, अंगोला में भारत के किसी राष्ट्रपति की पहलीयात्रा है। मेरे साथ हमारे राज्य मंत्री श्री वी सोमन्ना, तथा हमारे संसद के दो माननीय सदस्य, श्री पी वसावा और श्रीमती डी के अरुणा भी इस यात्रा में सम्मिलित हैं।

इस भव्य संसद सदन और अंगोला के जन-प्रतिनिधियों को संबोधित करना, मेरे लिए अत्यंत गौरव का विषय है — विशेषकर उस ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर जब आप अपनी स्वतंत्रता की स्वर्ण जयंती मना रहे हैं। संघर्ष से लेकर स्वतंत्रता, शांति स्थापना, और लोकतंत्र तक, अंगोला की यात्रा पूरी मानवता के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है।

मैं इस अवसर पर अंगोला गणराज्य के महामहिम राष्ट्रपति को भी धन्यवाद देती हूँ, जिनके स्नेहपूर्ण आमंत्रण पर मैं कल अंगोला पहुँची हूँ। मेरे साथ हमारे राज्य मंत्री श्री वी सोमन्ना, तथा हमारे संसद के दो माननीय सदस्य, श्री पी वसावा और श्रीमती डी के अरुणा भी इस यात्रा में सम्मिलित हैं।

मुझे लुआंडा आकर बहुत खुशी हो रही है। यह किसी भारतीय राष्ट्रपति का अंगोला का पहला राजकीय दौरा है। मैं महामहिम राष्ट्रपति लॉरेन्सो का उनके सौजन्यपूर्ण आमंत्रण के लिए धन्यवाद करती हूं, जिन्होंने मुझे अंगोला की स्वतंत्रता की 50वीं वर्षगांठ के उत्सव में भाग लेने, और State Visit पर आने का अवसर दिया। मैं अंगोला की सरकार और जनता का आभार व्यक्त करती हूं, जिन्होंने मेरा और मेरे प्रतिनिधिमंडल का आत्मीय स्वागत किया। मेरी टीम में हमारे राज्य मंत्री श्री वी सोमन्ना, तथा हमारे संसद के दो माननीय सदस्य, श्री पी वसावा और श्रीमती डी के अरुणा शामिल हैं।

 मां नयना देवी के पवित्र नाम से जुड़े नैनीताल में स्थापित इस विश्‍वविद्यालय के परिसर में आकर मुझे हार्दिक प्रसन्नता हो रही है। मेरी देवी माता से प्रार्थना है कि आप सभी विद्यार्थियों, राज्य के निवासियों तथा सभी देशवासियों पर अपनी कृपा बनाए रखें।

 उत्तराखंड राज्य की स्थापना की रजत जयंती के ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर, लोकतन्त्र के इस मंदिर में, विधान सभा के विशेष सत्र में आप सबके बीच आकर मुझे अत्यंत प्रसन्नता हो रही है। इस अवसर पर मैं उत्तराखंड विधान सभा के पूर्व और वर्तमान सदस्यों तथा राज्य के सभी निवासियों को बहुत- बहुत बधाई देती हूं।

आज उपाधि प्राप्त करने वाले प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी को मेरी हार्दिक बधाई और आशीर्वाद! पदक प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों की मैं प्रशंसा करती हूं। विद्यार्थियों के जीवन-निर्माण में सहभागी अध्यापकों और अभिभावकों को मैं बधाई देती हूं। छात्राओं के अभिभावकों की मैं विशेष सराहना करती हूं।

 I am happy to join you all at the Eighth Session of the International Solar Alliance Assembly today. As the host country and the current President of the ISA Assembly, India takes great pride in bringing together the member countries on a common platform. The ISA stands as a symbol of humanity’s shared aspiration—to harness solar energy as a source of inclusion, dignity, and collective prosperity.

I congratulate you on completing Phase-one of your training. You deserve high praise for getting into the coveted police service in the country after an extremely competitive examination.

I am happy to note that your Dikshant Parade was held ten days ago. I am sure that along with you, your proud parents and family- members are going to cherish the memories of the lively and impressive parade.
