God has created the human being with brain and thinking faculty. He has commanded His creation that the faculty be used with reasoning to reach His image. This is the mission of human life.

a path of life with righteousness

as righteousness gives the strength of character.

Help all religious leaders of my country to

give strength to the people to combat the divisive forces.

I am happy to inaugurate the DANG Mahotsava and the free legal aid center established for the benefit of the native population. I am indeed delighted to be at the Higher Colleges of Technology and address the students and faculty. When I am in the UAE, I can see the result of the great vision of President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan, who transformed the UAE into a prosperous and confident nation. My greetings to your President, Council of Ministers and the people for building this modern nation with innovative economic activity. My special prayers for the speedy recovery of President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan.

I am delighted to be among all the children, their teaching staff and parents here in your school in Dubai. Children in their innocence have a pure and noble mind and they enter our beautiful universe with a natural urge to seek and know more and more about themselves, and the world of life and man. Education is a societal response to satisfy this urge, and perfection in education has always been the goal of enlightened societies.

It is a great honour that you have bestowed on the Government and people of India, and indeed a delight for me, to address this highest Assembly of your ancient and great nation. I am deeply conscious that your country is at a crucial turning point in its history. Sudan, land of the two Niles, is the largest country in Africa. Both our countries share a rich heritage. This and our value system would be with us when we - India and Sudan move forward to the future.
