I am indeed delighted to inaugurate the National Children Science Festival - 2003 organised by Lucknow Public Schools. I am happy to note that thousands of school children from Lucknow, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gonda and adjoining places are participating in this event. My greetings to the student community and the organizers of this Science Festival. I was thinking what thoughts I can share with the young minds here. I am happy to note that CIMAP is recognized as a leading institute in research on medicinal and aromatic plants, their conservation and genetic improvements, plant tissue culture and Bioprospection and development of technologies for agri-chemical and health care products.
