I am happy to attend the India-Laos Business Forum, which the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Indian Industry have so generously hosted.
I am delighted to be in this beautiful country, with which India has had historical connections, going back to almost 2000 years.
Ladies and Gentlemen, and Dear Students,
I am delighted to be with the students and teachers of the Cambodia-India Friendship School, which is a symbol of friendship between our two countries.
I am delighted to be amongst the captains of business communities of our two countries. At the outset, I would like to thank the President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce for organizing this event.
India is proud to have been involved in the conservation and restoration efforts of Angkor Wat from 1986 to 1993 and is currently working for Ta Prohm Temple.
It gives me great pleasure to participate on the occasion of the Extension of the Metro Railway services in Kolkata - the City of Joy.
