The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil attended a function to take an overview of the completion of one year of the 'Roshini Project' - a Project to make the President's Estate a green, energy efficient and zero waste model township. The function took place on July 25, 2009 as the President completed two years in office. The Function was attended by the Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah amongst others. The 'Roshini Project' is an initiative taken on the directions of the President to make the President's Estate a green, energy efficient and a zero waste model township.
