The President of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev met the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 24, 2009. The President of Kazakhstan was the Chief Guest at the Republic Day Celebrations. They reaffirmed their committment to strengthen the multi-faceted relationship between their two countries. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. The President of India, later hosted a banquet in honour of the President of Kazakhstan and his delegation.
