The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil met people from different walks of life at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of her 75th birthday, on December 19, 2009. Those who greeted the President on the occasion were students, teachers, children from orphanages, members of women’s organizations, academicians, social welfare workers, freedom fighters, doctors and professionals in various fields.
The President always tries to spend her time on her birthday, with people and organizations that work in the field of social welfare.
