The Probationers of the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), 2009 Batch and officials from the National Academy of Defence Production, Nagpur called-on the President of India, Smt. Pratibah Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 19, 2010. Interacting with the Probationers, the President said that national security being of importance, the officers are expected to work with a sense of duty and keep in touch with the fast changing technology. The President also felt that there is a need to keep production on time according to schedule. She urged the young officers to also take interest in Research and Development aspects and to think innovatively.
