The President of Chile, H.E. Dr. Michelle Bachelet met the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 17, 2009. While welcoming President Bachelet, the President fondly recalled the warmth and hospitality extended to her, during her own visit to Chile in April 2008. The two leaders discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction that the tremendous goodwill and the natural partnership between the two countries, is now translating into co-operation in various sectors. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
