The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil met and interacted with nearly 500 children from Delhi and its surrounding areas as well as some from Andhra Pradesh at Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 14, 2009 on the occasion of Children's Day. The President said Indian students are known throughout the world for their discipline, hardwork and good value systems. She also urged teachers to be role models for their students, as the value systems taught by them make a deep impression on their wards.
