The Officer Trainees of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) called-on the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan on April 13, 2010. Speaking to the Officer Trainees, the President said their very crucial role in the administration of the country would be important in transforming India from a developing to a developed nation. While doing their work, the President advised them to take into consideration the aspirations of the people and to work for inclusive growth, which would include every individual, especially the disadvantaged in the growth process. The President said if implementation of schemes is done properly then the people would be benefited and change seen.
