The President meets students from remote parts of Assam
The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil met a group of
students from the remote areas of Assam at Rashtrapati Bhavan on
October 8, 2008. The group was in New Delhi under the Indian Army's
Operation Sadbhavana, which aims to create a feeling of national
integration amongst the youth. The students would also be visiting
Agra during their tour in which most of them are travelling outside
their state for the first time.
