The Probationers of the 61st Batch of the Indian Police Service (IPS) called-on the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on January 4, 2010. The group of 91 officers, in which 22 are lady officers, bring with them the knowledge and experience from varied backgrounds; with some of them being qualified Doctors, Engineers and Information Technologists.
