Probationers of Indian Revenue Service call on the President
The Probationers of Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise)
of the 59th batch called on the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 1, 2009.
The President urged the Officers to diligently deal with dispute settlement
matters before them and keep a good interface with the public. The President also
drew their attention to the need to effectively deal with
evasion of tax and leakage of tax and to work with honesty.
